Upgrade to 3.8x Query

Hi!

I have recently changed web servers and my last install was 3.72.

I want to install WHMCS on the new host but my last backup was from my last install - a 3.72 backup.

Can I install 3.8.x as a new intstall on the new server and then just dump the 3.72 backup Sql into it (I don't think I can!).

Or must I first install 3.7.1 then the incremental to 3.7.2 - restore the data and then upgrade to 3.8.x?

Also I did look for restoring a backup - do I just go to MyPHPAdmin and import the backup sql and overwrite the existing install tables to get the data back?

Thanks

Ernie
