add payment custom fields

Hi,

I am starting to use WHMCS and I have a question.

A lot of our customer pay us with Cheque. I read in the forum that Mailin payment getaway is the best choose to this payment method, but when I add a payment only have 2 fields (Transaccion ID and amount).

When I receive a Cheque i need store some information like cheque number, bank, amount, and pay day.

 

Is Possible add some fields in the add payment process?

Is necessary create or modify a custom payment gateway to cheque allowing add some fields to store this information?

I have the same problem, I use bank transfer (we use this for bank deposit) but we have several banks, i would like to know how can i put a payment buttom, where customer, can write or use a dropdown menu where he writes, bank, amout, date, and REF or cheque number. After clicking on the button, this info will get recorded but the domain and product will be done manually after confirmation.
