mojowill
I finally got a valid and helpful response from this. 1) make sure that you select the correct billing cycle for the domain pricing (ie if .co.uk select 2 years registration) 2) THIS IS THE BIT THEY DONT TELL YOU ANYWHERE! DO NOT ENTER http://www.domainname.com only enter domainname.com no more error code84
magga
You shouldn't enter the www anyway - that is a subdomain - the correct domain would always be domainname.com
othellotech
2) THIS IS THE BIT THEY DONT TELL YOU ANYWHERE! Yeah, the bit the dont tell you is that you have to know what a domain is, before you're allowed to sell them ...
mushybrain
it's when you pick a period for the domain registration, that is not defined in your domains pricinge.g .uk and 1year a downside of the single page new order creation setup - it was simplified and sped up because of many comlaints about the speed o the other and claimed "we know what we're doing" ... turns out they all lied I am getting this exact error however have checked the registration period and TLD but am still getting the problem. Are there any other issues with the domain registration tool in the admin module that would cause this error?
ramirozm
Hello, I had the same problem, but in my case I noticed I was typing the domain without the tld, just mydomain instead of mydomain.com, this was giving me the same Error Code 84 and logging me out of the Admin area. Maybe some of you are missing that detail too. Ramiro Zendejas
