AndrewMKP
Hello all. Just a problem I have noticed since the update is that my clients cPanel is showing they have unlimited disk space? When on the Automation setup it is stated the ammount they should be allocated? The Bandwidth is showing the correct ammounts. Any help would be appreciated on this one as I am totally stumped. Kind Regards, Andrew.
Matt Wade
The information you enter in WHMCS is not what is used for the limits on accts on the cPanel server. The limit is determined by what you define in the package in WHM/cPanel. What do you have there?
AndrewMKP
I have set up so the WHMCS packages will create on the server directly into WHM.
BobsRe
When you click Edit packages in WHM and select the package in question what does it say for disk space? It has to match what is inserted into WHMCS.
AndrewMKP
Hmm this is even stranger... The packages apparently don't exist in WHM? However they are being set up fine...
BobsRe
They do need to exist, try fixing that and see if it takes care of your original problem. I have had packages disappear in WHM after an update (WHM update) but the accounts still showed that they were using the missing packages. Maybe a recent update caused the same issue for you.
Zorro67
Same problem with some packages having disappeared, so the sites have been created with unlimited space. Its a bit of a pain to reset the packages to an other similar package. As Bob suggested, this is perhaps a WHM thing?
AndrewMKP
Actually I had noticed a WHM update, was this public then? Is it a bug in WHMCS API or something reading the new update?
BobsRe
No it is something with WHM. WHMCS still has the packages listed but for whatever reason during the update WHM dumped the packages.
AndrewMKP
So whats the resolution for this? Re create the packages in WHMCS to check they still store on the server?
BobsRe
No. Even when you first set up WHMCS the packages need to exist independently in WHM. Create the packages in WHM to match the specs you provided in WHMCS. Then for any account that is having your origional problem just click the "Change Package" button on the product.
