order.php?step=checkout Blank Page

Help! My checkout page doesn't appear to work.

It doesn't matter which Payment Gateway is selected, as soon as the user logs in/completes registration, and attempts to pay, the page simply comes up blank.

It does not redirect to Paypal, and I'm not sure where it's supposed to redirect Mail In Payments to, but it ain't doing that either.

Can anyone advise any files that could be the culprit? And how it could be made to work?

I have checked all my config settings but I can't see anything that relates to this issue.

Also I note that when a customer attempts to order a Product Addon, the only available gateway is Paypal. Why isn't Mail In Payment listed? Again, I have checked all my config but see nothing that would help.

Thanks in advance folks!

I did think that, but I have been looking through the templates, but cannot find anything that specifically refers to the checkout page (which I assume is not much more than a redirect to the selected payment gateway).

If you have any idea which file I need to re-upload, then it would be a great help.

Hi again.

I have since tried uploading the template file (order-signup.tpl) as well as all the other template files just in case, but the order.php?step=checkout page is still blank.

I note that sparky mentioned using cart.php instead of order.php, do you have a link perhaps that tells me how I could configure this in my version (3.5.1)?

I've searched the forum on this and not found anything specific on the matter (still scanning thru results though).

Cool, done it.

I simply changed the 'Order Additional Items' link in header.tpl from order.php to cart.php and everything appears to work swimmingly.

If I missed something glaringly obvious, please let me know.

And thanks again to you both for your help. :)
