Rob K
Having just built a Hypervm server with openvz I have tried to setup the hypervm whmcs module. I have read through all the docs and when I try and create a VM nothing happens on the VM server. The module says: -------------- Module Command Success Service Created Successfully -------------- But nothing on the hypervm server. I have tried it with the firewalls turned off, nothing in the logs - no clues anywhere. Anyone got any ideas?

michael_s
Hello, Try un-ticking the Tick to use SSL Mode for Connections at the bottom of the HyperVM main server settings. Chances are you do not have a valid SSL cert installed, and that is causing the connection to fail. Once you determine if that is the cause, you may want to get a valid SSL cert for the server.
wayers
Rob, I had several self induced challenges getting this to work- Can you click on the HyperVM button in WHMCS at the server config page and it opens a server control panel session in HyperVM? if so, you have a link to the server, then make sure you have a resource plan setup on the HyperVM server and the WHMCS product module "plan name" matches your "resource plan name" from the server. Once I got these lined up the vm's created correctly on the server-
MikeDVB
I'm having the same issue and I've verified that there is a link to the HyperVM server and the plan names match etc... But no dice. Any suggestions?
RapidCityHosting
We actually have been setting up VPS's on a per order basis. We dont use WHMCS for this, but we do use WHMCS to take the orders/money.

That's what we've been doing as well, no other way to do it when you're not sure how I guess it works out for the best this way anyhow.
michael_s
I had the exact same issue - exact. The only thing I had to do was to tell the whmcs-hypervm module to NOT use SSL to create the vps. When I did that, everything started working properly. VPSs get created automatically upon approval of the order as I have specified in whmcs. Works great and does save a lot of time over the course of a week.

Being a programmer of over 15 years I know how to troubleshoot issues but it's almost just as convenient to just create the VPSs manually so I'm not terribly worried about it at this point.
