ProfitRamp
I need to know how to add an existing website that is already on the server. To a new hosting account. It will be the main domain on the account. I have thought of just creating the account as usual and letting it create the account in cPanel. I am worried that it will delete the site in the process. Any clues as to the right way to go? thanks
chickendippers
I'm slightly confused by your terminology. The account is already on the server? You want to add it to WHMCS? In which case: http://wiki.whmcs.com/Importing_Data#Manual_Client_Entry
ProfitRamp
I have an existing live website that is located on the same server that WHMCS creates hosting accounts on. I am selling the website and the client wants me to continue hosting it. So I need to get the website into WHMCS. I know i can manually add the domain and product under the WHMCS client account but I need to know if this is the right way to do it. Do I allow WHMCS to create the cPanel account over again? or will that cause the website to be deleted? If i do not allow WHMCS to create the account in cPanel. Will I lose any functions or features in WHMCS for controlling the account? Yes I am very new. I hope I explained it better. For what its worth, I sell about 80 of these sites a month. So the easiest and fastest method would be appreciated. Thanks

Put the order in as normal At the "accept" order stage untick the "create on server" Job done For what its worth, I sell about 80 of these sites a month. So the easiest and fastest method would be appreciated. Put them in as orders to WHMCS in order to do the initial creations etc Get the "buyer" to go to register.php to create their account use the WHMCS feature to move the hosting to that new user set the appropriate dates on the pacakge click "generate due invoices" on the client summary
