WHMCS for collecting annual membership dues?

Hello,

 

I am the Treasurer for a local organization and am looking at updating our website with something like WHMCS that can be used to allow people to register and become paying members, or for people to pay their annual dues, as well as for offering tickets for sale to different events that our organization puts on.

 

Would WHMCS be a good choice for that or would you recommend something else?

 

I looked at this program some months ago when I purchased a reseller hosting account, but did not decide to use it at the time. However, I liked the many features it had - especially tracking when a person owes his dues would be good, and I am sure that there are other useful features too (please tell me how WHMCS can help)

 

A few other questions.. Would you recommend a bulletin board and a blog that can easily be integrated with it? And how about a CMS like Joomla? is that possible too? I would like to eventually integrate a bulletin board system with WHMCS so that a user only needs to log in once.

Yep WHMCS could do that although I guess you would need to modify the templates slightly to get rid of the more hosting-centric aspects.

 

As for integrations, there are plenty of login share applications and mods on the board...

If your hosting is on cPanel then most of the blogs/forums etc on Cpanel will work with WHMCS
