Couple of questions to ask

I am just about ready to order whmcs and finding out the last few things I need to know so that I am not ill-prepared when it comes to installation!

 

1. Can I restrict it so that I only receive UK orders?

 

2. What is the 'configurable package' add-on? What does it do exactly and when might you need this add-on? As anyone got a site I can view this on?

 

3. If I take up the monthly licence, can I upgrade and buy the full owned licence at any time?

1. Not by default, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard for WHMCS to do you some custom coding.

 

2. Are you referring to this: http://www.whmcs.com/configurablepackageaddon.php

It allows your customers to choose the specifications of their hosting package, rather than your pre-defined ones.

Ref Point 2. Yes that's what I was referring to.

 

I am offering pre-defined packages, but also additional resources ie extra bandwith, additional POP3 emails, mysql, databases, SSL cert, etc. Things they might want to tag on to the pre-defined order or, to be able to come back at a later date to add extra these things.

No need for the configurable package addon, just use the standard Addon feature.
