Unable to set payment gateways and products

I am having some issues with WHMCS 3.7.1, brand new installation. Most configuration settings seem to work correclty. However, I am unable to set any payment gateway or any product (product groups can be saved properly).

 

WHMCS tells me that everything was saved correctly, but nothing saves. I confirmed by looking directly in the database tables.

 

Edit: I cannot add any server either...

I have then upgraded to 3.7.2, but the problem remains

 

Has anybody encountered a similar issue, and if yes, how was it fixed?

I deleted the database and created a new one. I re-installed the files. I ran the install.php script. Provided all info, and then entered initial admin account info. Finally, I deleted the install folder.

 

The admin account was not created. I have to go into the database and manually add it in order to log in.

 

Once logged in after creating manually the admin account, the same symptoms occur: I can't create admin users, products, payment gateways, etc.

Sounds like you have a session problem on your server

check the php session save path has correct permissions applied

In my opinion, if there were session problems, I could not save anything at all. But I can. Most of the settings can be changed without any problem. Or am I missing something?
