I am a Microsoft SPLA and i need to know how many servers i have under the windows OS. I got a configuration options setup named operating systems listing all of my operating systems. I was wondering if someone could help me create a report i can run at the end of the month that will tell me how many ACTIVE servers have what OS. For example if i got 15 active servers, 5 inactive servers, all running lets say windows 2003 web, it will tell me windows 2003 has 15 servers with that selection. Anyone know how?
