domain over 67 characters

i try to register a domain over 67 characters from my whmcs,

 

but the checker do not show error "The domain you entered is too long. Domains can only be up to 67 characters in length.",

 

it shows "tryu76o9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555555ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb.net is available",

 

does my setting wrong or losing make the problem ?

1.it is i get from /lang/English.txt

$_LANG["domainerrortoolong"] = "The domain you entered is too long. Domains can only be up to 67 characters in length.";

 

2.i wonder why when i type over long,

why whmcs still shows "available",i want to fix this problem.

Change the maxlength of the field would be the only way to prevent entering more than 63 characters. It shows as available because the domain isn't registered. That check doesn't check how long the domain is.

the 67 "limit" includes the tld i.e .com
