Across Multiple servers?

Burrelly

Question

I have multiple CentOS servers running the same version of WHM and Cpanel.

My hosting site is hosted on server1.mysite.com, the clients sites are hosted on server2.mysite.com to server8.mysite.com

Will WHMCS work over multiple servers? I want my clients to be able to access their client areas from the main site hosted server1 regardless of what server their site is on.

Also if this is possible when WHMCS is creating the site will it go through the servers until it finds one with enough resources to handle the package requested? e.g server2 has enough space for another 5 x package1 but does not have the resources for package5 only server8 has.

Thanks

It does not take specs into the calculation?

Ok so what happens for example if all the servers have 10 accounts on them each. A customer signs up for a package that offers 20GB of disk space out of the 8 servers only one has the resources to handle that.

Hello. I am trying to add a second Hosting server to my WHMCS. I have it setup to provision sites on my Linux/CPanel server for the last quite a while, and it's working well. I've added a Windows/Plesk server lately and when a customer selects my Windows hosting plans, the domain registration is still sent to eNom with my Linux hosting server's DNS servers.

The site is provisioned on the Windows server, but the domain itself is registered pointed to the wrong server, and needs to be manually edited back to the Window's Server's DNS names.

Hi. I'm still struggling with this. I know I had asked this pre-sales, and WHMCS simply MUST be able to do this, right? However, when I have multiple servers setup, and if a customer registers a domain and orders hosting on the new Windows/Plesk server - the domain registration still get's sent to the Registrar with the Linux/CPanels' DNS servers in it.

How do I configure things so that the domain name is pointed to the server that the customer selected? WHMCS can in fact do this, right?
