davet
Varilogix requires that all international calls outside the United States to have 011 before the phone number but every customer that places an order doesn't know to put this before their phone number and the order is flagged as fraud. Can WHMCS automatically put 011 before the number is called if the account is outside the US? More info is at http://www.varilogix.com/support/dialing-rules.php
chickendippers
Does this automatically...at least for us.
davet
Strange, cause I don't see any settings for this within WHMCS or Varilogix and all calls outside USA fail unless they add 011. Anyone have any ideas?
davet
I have whiltelisted the phone number in my Varilogix account both using 011 and without it but the number still gets classified as fraud. During the order it shows the following: VariLogix FraudCall Failed The call to verify your order failed. This could be because your phone number was incorrectly entered or is blacklisted on our system. Please contact our support department as soon as possible to complete your order. I checked the log it shows: Call Status: Failed. [Error] Invalid Phone Number This is a phone number from Lebanon and according to http://www.howtocallabroad.com/lebanon/ it should be in the form of: 011 + 961 + ? + ??? ??? I whitelisted both of the following in Varilogix: 011-961-x-xxx-xxx 961-x-xxx-xxx I tried placing an order for the client from the front end (cause I'm trying to fix this fraud protection problem) using both 011-961-x-xxx-xxx and then again using 961-x-xxx-xxx and both return the same error. I thought whitelisting a phone number in my Varilogix account would allow the order to be approved within WHMCS. Are the dashes causing problems? Should the numbers be listed as 011961xxxxxxx or 961xxxxxxx instead? Edited October 28, 2008 by davet
chickendippers
Doesn't cause any problems for us when a customer puts dashes in their phone number.
