tekone
Wondering if there is a way to create cpanel accounts without a domain name associated with it and the package not requesting one
nielsenj
Package requires one i believe. That being said, you can fill it with a random domain like "blah.tld" and it will register it.. the user can still access the webpage at the http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/~username/ where the IP is your main shared ip. Alternativly you can bypass cpanel and put it directly into the httpd.conf for apache which allows IP only acces
bluenova
Why would you want to?? If you don't want to use a full domain domain name for an account, why not use sub-domains... clientaccount.yourdomain.tld

tekone
so that it will automatically create an ftp account on the system accessible from a different web page
WisTex
You have to enter something as a domain name. Does WHM support having separate cPanel accounts with different subdomains? I've never tried that. if so, you could assign each client a subdomain on a domain you have registered.
