roop
Hi, We've got a developer whose account contains a client's domain + hosting because he paid for it last year when he signed up. The renewal invoices have just been generated and he's emailed to ask us to move it to a new billing account for his client. We moved the domain + hosting to a new account using "Move Product/Service to Another Client", but can't find a way to do the same with the invoice. Is it possible, and if so how? Thanks, Rupert
handsonwebhosting
I don't believe it's possible. We usually set the invoice as canceled, move the hosting and domain to the new customer and then regenerate invoices on them. Once an invoice is generated that invoice number is DEAD and ASSIGNED. We rarely (if ever) move an invoice or modify an invoice so that we have a paper trail of what was going on. About the only thing we edit on an invoice is NOTES as to what was going on and why it would have been canceled.

othellotech
You can move the invoice through phpmyadmin pretty much breaking the law in every country though just move the *product* to the new owner, set the due date back 1 day and click "generate due invoices" on the client summary
