herpherp
How does the enom ssl integration work? what is the process? What happens after a customer submits an order? I read the wikki page but doesn't provide any details.... How does the customer get assigned a dedicated IP? Can we get a process flow chart or information to know if it is working or not? If the customer has more than 1 domain how is it determined which domain the ssl is for... I currently do not have an extra domain to test it on and am just wanting to know what to expect, and how to auto assign dedicated ip..... I tried it in test mode and get this e-mail: The order placed for has received its first payment but an error occured and the account could not be automatically setup on the server Client ID: 2 Product/Service: RapidSSL Domain: Error: Bad User name or Password I am not sure what to make of this as my enom password and username are correct so any help in getting this working would be appreciated.
SindreM
After the purchase, the client will have to configure the SSL certificate in their client area. This is where you would select the hostname, company information, etc. The certificate signing request is then sent to eNom for validation. At least, that is how I understand it.
chickendippers
After the order is placed and accepted the customer is sent an email with a link to a configuration wizard that asks for all the information; hostname, domain etc. You will have to manually assign a dedicated IP to the customer's account. Then they login to your server control panel (eg cPanel) and setup everything from there.
herpherp
Thanks for the assistance! I changed enom accounts and didn't realize that you needed to add the ip with enom api for access on each username(that was part of my problem)... As far as setting up the ip manually... Can this be done after the customer has the ssl set up, or does the customer have to have the dedicated ip.... Sorry for all the questions, I want to be able to add instructions to my kb or be able to answer a customer if they asks....

Isn't the IP address part of the CSR, so I'd imagine you couldn't change the IP address afterwards.
