davet
When customers receive an email from WHMCS that a support ticket has been replied to, the link it shows in the email is not the SSL link, but if they click on it it automatically takes them to the secure link. I wish this was true for the emails that our admins receive. In the email the admin received it shows like this: --------------------------- A new support ticket response has been made. Client: John Smith Department: Support Subject: Updating webpage using front page Priority: Medium You can respond to this ticket by replying to this email or by logging into the administration area. http://interactiveonline.com/billing/admin/ -------------------------------- If I click on that link it doesn't automatically take me to the secure link to the WHMCS backend. Is there a way to force this? I don't want admins accidentally logging into the backend using the non-secure URL Any ideas?
redrat
You have raised an important issue here. It kind of defeats securing one coms direction when reversing it blows the gaf to every man and his dog. Pointless really.
