Ce --> whmcs

Question

I was using CE for past few years, had enough switching to WHMCS, i have some newbie questions

 

#1 - If i import data from CE< waht about my customer credit card details, payment history, invoices, packages, all these be imported as well? we use Quantum gateway

 

#2 would customer password and user details remain the same?

 

#3 can i disable the ticket system or link it to Kayako?

1. Credit card data can't be imported due to the encryption. The import script will transfer all servers, packages, clients, domains & invoices data from your CE installation however.

 

2. Customer details remain the same. Again because of the encryption, a new password has to be generated. You can then mass mail users to let them know their new login details or let them use the password reminder option.

 

3. Yes, there is a full Kayako integration module you can use to replace all the in-built WHMCS support tools with the Kayako equivalents.
