LeMarque
WHMCS 3.72 using NE1 as my Registrar. I've searched but can't find a solution to why a client, or in the Admin area of WHMCS, it only displays the clients "Registrant" details and doesn't allow (i.e. No fields) for adding Tech or Billing Contacts when I choose >> Management >> Contact information. Some domains were ordered thru WHMCS and others I've added manually; but in any case I don't have an option to add additional contacts. Any help appreciated.
LeMarque
Like I said, Any Help appreciated. Can't seem to login to the WHMCS demo site now to attach a screenshot, but the demo site shows the option of adding billing and tech contacts to the domain registration details.
redrat
I would open a support ticket here and ask them the same question for a definitive answer.
LeMarque
OK for anyone using ResellerClub/DirectI/NE1 as their Registrar, we're limited to one contact. Reason is, to quote Matt: Nobody will have the feature. It's not implemented in the module because their system uses contacts, only one contact can have a certain email address, and therefore the same contact is used for all 4 contact types. But if your Registrar is enom you will have the ability to have Registran/Admin and Tech contacts.
handsonwebhosting
In ResellerClub/DirectI you can go into the modify domain name (through their control panel) and when looking at the contact details there's a link that says: "Note: We will use your Registrant Contact specified above as your Technical, Billing and Admin Contacts. click here to edit these now." You can then click that link and modify the contact details for the domain. Wonder if there's something that WHMCS can program for that for the future since they DO have different contact fields, maybe just not allowed in their API currently.
Business Hosting Online
Sorry to dig up an old post, I am currently using ne1, is this still the case, you cannot modify the "contact Information" for Billing/Admin/Tech contact details in the WHOIS?
