Francisco
Directi is increasing pricing as of Sept 30th to $8.xx per domain renewal reg transfer. What have you done? We have been with RC/Directi for over 4 years but this hike seems ridiculous. Thanks
scurrell
The price increase will affect all ICANN-accredited registrars, so it doesn't make much difference where you go.
WebzPro
The price hike on base to slab one is way off with out them changing something like the slab pricing. Base gets raised 0.50 and slab one gets raised $1.40. But slab pricing in how much you spend with them remains the same. We are going to do like all other business's do. Just raise our prices to compensate for theirs.
WebzPro
Just a side note, this could be an overall better value for your customers. New value-added Services with Domain Names (soon to be launched) The Registry price hike will also result in an increase in our pricing; however, we will also soon be introducing a range of exciting value added services completely FREE with every domain name registered or transferred-in to ResellerClub. <<removed>>
zoilodiaz
we need now resolve Directi module for do all this new features automatics because add DNS and domain forwarding manually is not good option form the customer. now this function are default we need automatic registration of this.
ghpk
we need now resolve Directi module for do all this new features automatics because add DNS and domain forwarding manually is not good option form the customer.now this function are default we need automatic registration of this. Let the features get introduced and once it becomes available Iam sure WHMCS people would consider it. However the Price increase is twice than Expected. This will certainly affect everybody's profit and sales volume. Many of my sub-resellers have started arguing, but there's not much resellers would be able to do with the new pricing structure.
handsonwebhosting
You know, I keep hearing about the hike, and I know in October 2007 there was a hike also with them, but I can't find anything on their site saying they're increasing prices etc. Anyone have a link for me as I'm just too blind to see it
zoilodiaz
New Pricing Structure: As mentioned in the previous mailer, the entire ResellerClub Slab based Pricing Structure will be revamped from the 30th of September. Instead of 6 slabs, we will now be moving to 4 slabs with Slab 3 being the Best Slab. The Total Receipts for each of the corresponding Slabs remain the same. Please refer to the table below for the new pricing structure: Slabs Total Receipts gTLD Pricing* Base Slab USD 199 USD 9.49 Slab 1 USD 499 USD 8.89 Slab 2 USD 1499 USD 8.39 Slab 3 USD 2999 USD 7.89 *Pricing applicable to .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and .name Domains The new pricing structure will only be beneficial for you as you now only need Total Receipts worth $2999 to get the Best Slab Pricing for ALL domain extensions.
Sophia
What does that mean for the ones who have a reseller account via whmcs? I have not heard anything about those prices... to what will they increase?
Ben-iNetFx
This really sucks for those of us who have deposited over $12k as we now lose all benefits
handsonwebhosting
Hey zoilodiaz, Just wanted to post a thank you for posting that note from resellerclub. I had a conversation with my sales rep there and I guess we're already on their highest slab pricing - so we're set for the increase. It's a shame that prices have to raise, but that's the nature of the game. As for putting in high amounts and losing benefits, that does suck. We were on their highest slab before too, but everyone is feeling the crunch on this increase - not much that can be done. And with Verisign's ability to raise prices by 7% each year, we can almost guarantee another increase in September/October next year too.

netearth
Yeah, welcome back $70 domains ..... in a few years time. I think it will be many years before you see those sort of prices in the general field. Verisigfn doesnt habe that many yeats of their license left from recollection, saying that though, they will have enough dosh to win it back... Alticon-Brian
At first I was ready to freak out, then I noticed we're already on the higher slab so things are working out A-O.k. Domains are an easy upsell, plus with DirectI it's easy to *be* a reseller (we have one client who only resells domains, entering them all in by hand for the non tech-savvy. this place has sold close to 300 domains).

handsonwebhosting
Not that I can tell. I know we setup forwarding the other day for a customer and they charged $0.15 or something like that
