Tucows/OpenSRS integration questions

Hi,

We're about to launch some new TLDs and wanted to what the level of support the following TLDs had within WHMCS:

  • eu
  • ca
  • fr
  • be
  • de
  • ch
  • tv
  • mobi

We currently register .ca domains through WHMCS but using enom and I know the results are less than stellar. Roughly 70% of orders don't get processed automatically because of random errors with the system, so I wanted to know if anyone had any experienced with the aforementionned TLDs as far as WHMCS's integration with the OpenSRS system goes.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Due to the modular and "user configurable" nature, WHMCS works perfectly with most TLD's with the exceptions of those that are "push" not "pull" transfers (like .uk) and those that are not extended by transfer (like .gb.net)

How well an individual registrar module works for automating things can vary depending on the code in WHMCS and the quality of the API and systems at the registrar.

Without knowing which TLD's you are expecting to do with which registrar it's difficult to be precise :D

We find about 1 in 4 .ca's fail at enom, and have to be done again - this is an enom-cira communication problem.
