WisTex
I was looking through the forum and the wiki and I did not see anything that addressed this question, although I think I know what the answer might be. Does the Affiliate Program pay affiliates for the life of the customer, with or without the affiliate cookie being present? In other words, if an affiliate refers a new customer, do they get commissions on all the items that person orders in the future? If not, is there a way to set it up like that? Also, if not, how does it work now? The cookie must be present on the client's computer for all orders, in order for them to get a commission? Thanks.
MikeDVB
Once they purchase a plan, the cookie has nothing to do with it anymore. Unless they purchase another plan, I'm not sure if you can get affiliate payouts on two accounts from the same individual.
chickendippers
As long as the cookie is present the affiliate will get the referral for all the packages the customer signs up for. No cookie, no referral. E.g. If they sign up for one product & the affiliate receives the commission, the cookie then expires and the customer signs up for a second product, then the affiliate won't get the referral for the second product. If you have recurring commission enabled then the affiliate will receive commission for the life of the customer.
