subigo
I've been trying to figure this one out for days now with no luck. I have my cell phone set up to receive text messages (email to sms) when I get a new order or support ticket... the problem? One ticket or order takes up like 5-50 text messages. Not to mention it sucks scrolling through all of these things on my crappy little phone. Unfortunately the cell provider I use does not have an unlimited texting plan, so this adds up over time. There is no e-mail template to edit for these notifications... how can I get it to send me a single, one lined text message when I have a new ticket/order?

That would require editing part of whmcs, which is my question, because there is no template for this. 2. It does, I still get charged for multiple texts 3. I will after my contract. And TommyK, I would love to do that, but my provider wants to charge me $40 a month for that feature. Really guys, I just need to know how to edit templates for admin. e-mails.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 28, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 28, 2008 That's not how you would achieve it. You need to use the TicketOpen action hook to send an email to the required address with exactly the details you want. Matt

This is something I am trying to do, but can find anything (apart from this post) and this doesn't give me much to go on.
