dimmis
Hello, Has anybody tried to link the WHMCS with a gateway so clients can be messaged in their mobile phones for various aspects? Thanks for your answers..........
dansgalaxy
Now that could be cool! but could turn to be very costly as the webhost, baring in mind that for you to reply etc its probs at least 3-10p/message and god knows how much it would cost to set up... DataHosts
not something I care about. If the clients get email on mobile then they get replies from you
bluetreehost
I also do not think this is a good option to have as it adds a level of complexity and another point of failure. But, that being said, it is easy for clients to add a contact to their account, and set the email address to be the email for their text message service of their cellular provider. For example, for AT&T is is 5555555555@cingularme.com.
LemonBarley
yea, i think WHMCS should include that. like a overdue reminder, new invoice generated, soon suspending account. all this can be sent by sms. just like my phone operator does when i forgotten to pay my bills. WHMCS how about implementing this soon?

ausloki
install an email2sms gateway and add an additional contact for the user contacts for billing. This will then allow you to customise the email2sms template to send a summary. I have done similar on my inhouse network monitoring with nagios.
