risrik
I was just wondering how the account and password for the client area is handled when someone signs up for a hosting account. If they order a package, they get the 'New Account Information' email containing their details (including password for the hosting account) but nothing about a password for the client area. Do they have to create an account for the client area as well and I then I merge them on the back end or does the system automatically create a password for them like it does when you import accounts? If so, does the system also send the client area email with that password? I'm new to WHMCS and am just wondering how this works because I want clients to know they have a client area to use.
chickendippers
Customers are sent the "Client Signup Email" that contains their client area login details.
DataHosts
They can also change it with the 'Forgot Password' ability, and you can change it from the admin side of WHMCS
