dexus
I don't understand how should I configure WHMCS for a TLD that have minumum registration period 2 years. Transfer is always adding just 1 year so price for transfer should be the price for one year, but registration and renewal should be minimum 2 years. So how to configure this? Can someone please explain this... Thanks.
dexus
I just realised how... You just need to put -1.00 in the 1 year registration field price and set regular price for transfer and renewal for 1 year because transfer and renewal always should have 1 year option.
handsonwebhosting
Dexus, Thanks for posting this. I was going out of my mind today I had searched the docs for this, but couldn't find anything. Then I tried searching the forum here for ".co.uk" but it couldn't read that either. I tried "2 year" and just wasn't getting the results I wanted to find this thread. Thanks again for posting, you've cut my frustration level to less than 15 minutes today
dexus
You are welcome... You just reminded me, I found a small bug with this, on the domainchecker.php page, when you disable domain registration for 1 year, price for transfer of that domain will be shown as 0.00. That is only how it is shown on the domainchecker.php page, everything else is working fine...
othellotech
WHMCS needs an "option" on the domain setup as to whether transfers extend the domain registration or not - most of the domains that have a minimum term (like ,uk) do *not* extend on a transfer ...
