efisher
Ok, hopefully this makes sense. Like most, I have multiple product groups defined. For the purpose of my question, let us call them Colocation, Ecommerce and Web Hosting. When someone starts down the order process, and chooses their product, say "Ecommerce Pro", a product in the Ecommerce group, a set of bread crumbs appear indicating the order progress. Once out of step one, there is a link for "Choose a Package" the sends the user back to /whmcs/order.php (which defaults to the lowest group with the lowest gid). Instead, I'd like to modify the template to provide the link /whmcs/order.php?gid=X (where X is the product category id for Ecommerce). I've tried a few things in the steptwo.tpl file, but I'm not able to get it to present X for me. Is this information carried through the order process? Is it even possible? Thoughts? Thank you so much! -Eric
chickendippers
This would be useful. But how would you decide which product group to view if you had multiple items in your cart?
efisher
I think this would only be useful with the "order" form and not the cart. We are working with the order form, so the logic makes sense. I see your point with the cart.
efisher
Anyone? Is the GID variable passed through the order form somehow?
