Retired Forum Member WHMCS Joe Posted July 20, 2008 Retired Forum Member Share Posted July 20, 2008 Hi This error message means that you have a firewall blocking your connection. Make sure that the relevant port depending upon your control panel is open for incoming and outgoing communications on both the local and remote server. othellotech
Hi jo the server aint got a firewall Definately sounds like either the server with WHMCS or the server its trying to connect to is firewalled. Can you telnet from ssh on the whmcs server to the other one on the relevant port ?
shoggy24
I was getting this exact error too with a plesk server using APF firewall until i allowed port 8443 on outgoing i APF, so mine was due to firewall issue
