Ash
Hello, I am wondering if there is some sort of way of offering the user a choice of servers when signing up. The plan is to offer both DirectAdmin and cPanel hosting, and offer a choice for the user when they sign up for an account. The choice they make will then send the request to the right server. Is there any way WHMCS can do this? Thanks. Ash
uberhost
We offer cPanel and DirectAdmin by having them in separate groups, and duplicating all the packages from one group to the other.
Ash
The only problem is that clients would now have an extra link to click during the order process, adding confusion etc.
DataHosts
The only problem is that clients would now have an extra link to click during the order process, adding confusion etc. If you create a product group in WHMCS called cPanel and then DirectAdmin, create the packages, and then duplicate them to both groups....there would not be any extra link to click during the signup process. It is no different than creating shared, reseller, VPS, dedicated, VOIP, and such groups.
uberhost
The only problem is that clients would now have an extra link to click during the order process, adding confusion etc. Look here to see what I mean: https://uberhost.net/cart.php There's no confusion at all. GopherHosts explained the process we used perfectly.
