Domain Management - what features available?

electric

Question

I am considering to move over from AWBS, but I am not able to compare WHMCS without "seeing" what kind of domain management features exist.

Are there screenshots or anything? I tried the demo, but since there is no domain registered I can't see how it works...

With AWBS, our customers can fully register and manage their domains through the eNom interface. If WHMCS has the same capability, then we'll seriously consider it as a viable alternative.

Thanks.

You can manage domains via eNom, Directi and Reseller fly using WHMCS. If I remember correctly, domain orders have to be manually registered (done by clicking one button) to prevent fraud. As long as you have enough money in your account it was register the domain, etc once you hit the button.

Here's a screenshot of a domain registered via DirectI

Would be nice and easy, if the domain is registered via enom, to just put a link to http://access.enom.com so that the customer can manage their domain themselves. When WHMCS registers the domain, it would need to specify an access password, and then this would be what is used to access the mgmt area.

Nice, quick, and easy. You can even "rebrand" this mgmt area very simply so it matches the site design. :)
