Plesk - General Question :?:

Hi,

We have Plesk 8.3 Windows 2003 server. And would like to create 3 packages :

- 10gb space for 1 domain for single client

- 100gb space for 5 domains for single client

- 100gb space for unlimited domain for client as reseller.

All the accounts will be created with client & domain templates.

But we want to restrict second package that client would host only his 5 domains NOT his client (like a reseller can do)

cPanel gives this facility by addon domains, all the five hosting domain will have single hosting cpanel. So client can't give cpanel access to all his clients.

And you can separate the branding for you client & resellers.

In cPanel you can provide single FTP access to all five domains.

How can we achieve this in Plesk, we try to find the solution on net, but no success?

Thanks,

Vibhu

you cant do *exactly* what you expect

"addons" in cpanel terms is a misnomer, its really a mashup of a domain alias and a subdomain, using the resources of the *account*

additional domains in plesk terms is an entirely separate hosting account just using some of the overall resources allocated to the *client*

you can go some way by restricting the number of ftp users, but any customer with multiple domain capability under plesk is really a "reseller" account when compared to cpanel
