mattpark
There is no WHMCS -> WHMCS tool available at the moment, if that is what you mean. If however, you are wanting to move the install from server a -> server b, then this is quite simple. Copy your home dir files across, and take a DB backup using the built in tool, or something like phpmyadmin. Upack and mount DB at the new server and your done. Don't forget to update your WHMCS licence for your new IP address, and also things like enom account API, nominet, merchant services etc....
chickendippers
I think the OP wants to move a client between servers, rather than move their WHMCS install. In which case, WHMCS (or any billing system) cannot do this. You need to make the transfer from your server and then change the client's server in WHMCS.
uberhost
^ Exactly right. This would not be an appropriate feature for WHMCS because of the slew of panels supported, and the various means of doing the transfer. Plus if something went wrong, there would be a liability factor, I guess.
othellotech
Most control panels have some sort of "migration tool" built in or available as an extra - quite what they migrate varies - ensim to cpanel for example gets the website but not the email addresses, cpanel to plesk tens to get the permissions wrong requiring manual work afterwards depending on the version of plesk you move to etc. Whilst it should be technically possible to have a feature in the control panel to transfer a client from one system to another,, it's one of those tasks that may well be better done manually by trained staff. If you start automating it, then you'll want to allow clients to do it through the package upgrade options, and the level of support issues will increase dramatically ...
