minadreapta
ok, i added a new server. my question is how do i go about the hosting plans? 1. i create a new hosting plan and set it to use its own install server(the new server)? or 2. i don't create a new plan but i modify the existing one to use the new server. the hosting plans have the same characteristics... in other words: i have 3 servers and i sell 3 hosting packages. should i have 9 packages created in whmcs, 3 for each server? or should i have 3 generic hosting packages and i only change the default install server as soon as i add a new server (or an existing server gets full and another one has more free space)?
chickendippers
Are the individual servers unique selling points? I.e. Do you have a UK server and a US server? Otherwise it's easiest just to have 3 "generic" hosting packages and change the default as necessary.
minadreapta
they are not us and uk, but they are in different Datacenters in the same country. they are unique selling points, i don't differentiate them by the location.
