whois.eu not working

Hi Everybody,

Our website has exeeded the maximum of 100 lookups per hour a few times and now our ip number is banned for 90 days.

The solution to this problem is on the eurid website:

http://www.eurid.eu/en/become-registrar/lookup-services'>http://www.eurid.eu/en/become-registrar/lookup-services

I guess the solution would be the DAS wich i copied below:

DAS (port 4343)

If you only want to know a domain name's status, use DAS. DAS stands for Domain Availability Service and runs on port 4343. It can be automated and does not have a query limit. To use DAS, enter the command line get 1.0 domainname, where domainname is the name you want to look up only and does not include the .eu suffix.

If we look up the domain name eurid.eu, the following information is returned:

.eu Domain Availability Server 1.0

%

%©2005(http://www.eurid.eu)

%

%% RC = 0

Domain: eurid Status: REGISTERED

Can anyone please help me to implement this in WHMCS????

Beste Regards, Corretje

maybe whmcs can write some piece of code to get status via DAS and include in next version, i believe it is very usefull feature.

whois -h das.eu -p 4343 get 1.0 domain

and return in a page the status FREE or REGISTERED

so in whoisserver.php we can put smth like that

.eu|http://myserver_das_status_page/?domain=|HTTPREQUEST-FREE
