wiszmaster
Hello, I have a new install of WHMCS. First time user. When my orders auto complete (pay right away) - then the "New Account Information" email is sent out right away. All works flawless. However when something goes wrong, or an issue arrises - and I have to submit the order manually - It does not send the email out. This morning I had a customer signup at 7:17AM, and at 10:06AM I had to manually process his order. I believe it gave a DNS error for why it could not create his cPanel account. Tonight ran into the same with email - I signed up 2 accounts for a customer. I did not pay, but approved the orders in the admin section of WHMCS as the customers have paid by check. After approving the first one, and attempting to create the account in cpanel, i realized that it failed due to the DEDICATED IP error I made (check it in WHMCS, btu not in WHM). I corrected the package in WHMCS & created the cPanel account. NO "New Account Information" email for this account. I processed the other account, and it went right through & sent the email. 1. What can be done to fix future email from being sent out 2. Is there a way to re-send the "New Account Information" email? Thank You, marco
othellotech
2. Is there a way to re-send the "New Account Information" email? When looking at their product in the admin area there is an email selection - pick "new cpanel account" ...
wiszmaster
Yes Sir - Thank You very much! I had not looked at that page. Got that sent out - very good. That brings me to another question - I have not yet checked it. When a customer changes the cPanel password in WHMCS - and i resent the account email, will the new password be in the email, or the original password. Also - is there a button to re-send current account info, or should the HOSTING ACCOUNT WELCOME EMAIL be used? Thank You for your quick response. --marco
othellotech
the *current* details are in the email if you send a new one from that part of the admin pages. if the client looks at hostoric emails in the "my email" section oftheir client area they see the *original* data. to send the current data, use the welcome - if they changed the password then they shoudl knwo what it is, and they can always see it under "view detail" when looking at "myhosting" in the client area ... the days of email (should be) long gone
wiszmaster
Rob, 'nother question on this subject. I just re-homes the server & IP block the server is on. Is there a way to send the HOSTING ACCOUNT WELCOME out to all customers, or does it have to be done 1 by 1? Thanks, marco
