asgard
After nearly 2 weeks I'm still waiting for Parallels to fix my Helm installation (which they broke), so now I'm investigating options for control panels. Is anyone successfully using WHMCS with the latest version of dotnetpanel (2.4.2)? I've set them up together, however 30seconds after WHMCS creates the account, dotnetpanel deletes it. I contacted both WHMCS and dotnetpanel about this. WHMCS says it's a dotnetpanel problem. dotnetpanel says it's a WHMCS problem. Any other windows based solutions? Urgently?

phenglai
I have WHMCS and DNP and I have never seen the behavior you are talking about. I think they work well together. I will see if I can reproduce this but I have not seen it lately.

scurrell
haha. I'm rolling on the floor laughing. not. yeah, ok, you got a chuckle, and I could do with that at the moment! We're in the same situation as you, but still running Helm 3 as Helm 4 seems to be going nowhere rapidly. We're seriously looking at DNP as an alternative.
asgard
I managed to get it working, or at least to the next step. I had a box ticked on WHMCS to create an email account, however I hadn't setup email services on the DNP test server. DNP's response to a failure is apparently to rollback the previous steps and the WHMCS module doesn't seem to pickup on the failure. I have to say I prefer the Helm layout and overall approach, but it appears to no longer be an option. DNP is significantly faster, it appears to queue job requests and return to the user immediately. A little disconcerting at first, when you delete users or resources and then go back to the list and they're still there, only to disappear a short time later.
