9DollarDomains
When I entered my domain pricing, I've put in 1, 2, 5 & 10 year terms. However, when customer's go to renew their domains for 10 years (at least when it's prior to their exiry date), the registry will fail. So, I can obviously do new registrations for 10 years, and (I assume that) I could renew for 10 years the day after expiry, but we can't renew for 10 years the day BEFORE expiry. I understand that this is a ICANN policy - so that's not my question exactly. My question is, how can I create a domain pricing for 10 years, that doesn't offer a 10 year renewal option - or am I simply limited to 9 years on both? When I try to blank out the renewal price for the 10 year item (or try to make it N/A) the program sets it at $0.00 instead, and customers are then offered FREE 10 year renewals. Our prices are agressive, but not that agressive!
