Hi,

I downloaded V3.6.2 Beta,

Uploaded in binary mode

Renamed the file configuration.php.new to configuration.php

 

changed

/configuration.php 777

/attachments 777

/downloads 777

/templates_c 777

 

and

 

http://www.yourdomain.com/clients/install/install.php

 

Step 1 ) I agree

Sterp 2) It shows

 

System Requirements Checks

 

» PHP Version .......... Passed

» MySQL .......... Passed

» CURL .......... Passed

 

Permissions Checks

 

» Configuration File .......... Passed

» Attachments Folder Permissions .......... Passed

» Downloads Folder Permissions .......... Passed

» Templates Folder Permissions .......... Passed

 

 

I pick New Install V3.6.2

 

Step 3) Could not connect to the database - check the database connection details you entered and go back and correct them if necessary

 

 

It's not even asking for database info.

 

Please help.

Hi,

 

I would raise a ticket or maybe enter them manually in configuration.php yourself to get yourself up and running.

Did you enter your db info in "configuration.php" ?

I can't remember if it was manual or automatic when I did it as it was a while ago but that is the place to put it.
