authorize.net transaction failures

Recommended Posts

All my successful authorize.net transactions are resulting as errors in WHMCS. When a payment is submitted manually it tell me it has failed and to check the gateway log. The log shows it as an error and the debug data shows:

Response Reason Text => "This transaction has been approved."

I then get a successful transaction report from authorize.net and my client get a notification from WHMCS that it has failed. They then call or email me and I tell them it's a bug and that we're working on it. I'm getting tired of doing that.

Matt first told me that those quotation marks in the response from authorize.net were unusual, but now he said that since nobody else has complained that it must be something specific to my account and to contact authorize.net.

Do any of you have your authorize.net responses contained in quotes? Has anyone come across this issue?

Thanks!

I use authorize.net, but don't have the problem that you're seeing. I don't have quotes around the response reason text, but the quotes shouldn't matter. As long as the response code is 1, the transaction should be recorded as approved. If you haven't already, I'd suggest checking your authorize.net settings, perhaps re-saving them just in case.
