Changing Card Processor

I'm trying to change my card processor from Authorize.net to BluePay. I have BluePay set up and working, no problem there, but WHMSC (3.6.0) does't allow me to disable the Authorize.net gateway because there are upcoming unpaid invoices that it is set for.

I do not want these to go through Authorize.net. What do I need to do to change all the upcoming payments to the new processor?

Just to note, in the gateway set up I did try to rename the Authorize.net gateway name to something different, but all that did was change it in all of the unpaid invoices as well.

Do I need to edit all of these invoices manually?

I've changed all the clients (hosting accounts, server accounts, added services, unpaid invoices, canceled invoices, etc) to the new processor but WHMCS still won't allow me to deactivate the old one, complaining about not being able to deactivate a processor that is in use. The only place I see the old processor noted now is on already paid invoices.

I can't see why one would want to or need to change the processor on an invoice already marked as paid or canceled ... is this a bug? Or do I really need to change all of those as well? If so this could make for lots of records confusion if I ever need to go back and review something.
