csc2ya
I've currently got an open order for myself on our whmcs installation for a .org domain. We're using directi for domain name registrations. Payment has gone through without a problem, but I can now see the following error on the todo list, and I was also e-mailed by the system with it as well: Client ID 20 has paid for the registration of domain * and the automated registration attempt has failed with the following error: Domain Registration Error - Invoice is partly paid (i'm not putting the domain for obvious reasons) Does anyone know whether this is a whmcs error, or whether it's something at directi's end, and also if possible, what causes it?
Troy
That happens when the master customer set in WHMCS has insufficient funds allocated to it. You just need to add funds to that customer account and you'll be fine. Bear in mind I'm not referring to adding (real) funds to your DirectI balance, but adding (virtual) funds to the customer which has all domains assigned to it by WHMCS.
FPForum
Login to your domains.whmcs.com/reseller and goto customers - billing - add funds. Then type in YOUR customer account you created and move some funds over to that account (virtual funds) Next while logged into your admin account you should just be able to goto My Billing - Summary. You should then have instructions to pay the partially paid invoice
msmom
This one baffled me, too. I wasn't 'getting' the virtual funds part of Directi. Once I put funds there, I was all set Client ID 20 has paid for the registration of domain * and the automated registration attempt has failed with the following error: Domain Registration Error - Invoice is partly paid
