dee-en
I can't find answers in the Logicboxes knowledgebase. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding some basic concepts. 1) Does the reseller have to maintain a balance equal to that of his clients? If my clients have $1000 in their accounts would I have to tie up $1000 in my account? If a client paid me off line and I put the money into his account - would I then have to then put an equal amount in my account? 2) How does a reseller get profits out of his LogicBoxes account and into his bank account or PayPal account? Are there fees involved?
minadreapta
funds in reseller's account are real funds funds in customer's account are virtual funds. you can credit the customer's account with $10,000 even if you have $10 in the reseller's account. however, if you don't have funds in the reseller's account, you can't register domains even if the customer's account has $10,000. as for question #2 i don't know the answer, maybe someone else.

If a customer pays you whether it be in cash (you add funds / reciepts to his/her account) or online via PayPal, you have the money, its either in your hand or in your paypal account. In your hand costs you nothing as you physically have it, in your paypal account means you have been charged by it in some way or another. The thing is if they give you say $50 dollars, then they would expect to be able to use that $50, so, therefore, you have to have say that kind of amount in your reseller account to allow them to use it, otherwise orders will be "Order stuck in Processing" The logicbox account (same platform as NetEarthOne) doesnt recieve your money, it is paid directly to you by whichever means you have setup in the payment processing side of things, if you setup PayPal it would be in your PayPal account, if MoneyBookers, it would be paid into that account. They (the end user) pay direct to YOU, NOT to LogicBoxes. Just remember, if you are dealing with END USERS you cannot or shouldnt charge them to accept the order, but you charge them enough over your purchase price to make a profit. If you sign up Resellers, then you are giving the domains cheaper to them and therefore the choice is yours ig you wish to deduct the transaction fees from them. This is what ResellerClub do (same as us). Kind regards, Chris
