Rick67
I was looking for a source that compares or discusses various payment gateways. Here are some sources I found. However be aware that some of these review sites are not unbaised. If they have "buy" buttons they are probably getting affiliate fees. However some information they list is helpful. http://credit-card-processing-review.toptenreviews.com/ http://www.qualiteam.biz/support/choosing_payment_gateway.html http://www.ecommerce-guide.com/essentials/shopping_carts/article.php/3656541 Feedback on the various gateways you have used are welcome! Thanks,

greengiant
Bluepay has been great for us, highly recommend them.
pwner99
Whatever you do, do not choose PayPal! Their fees are extremely high (about 4-4.5% avg on my orders), and when someone pays you and PayPal thinks its a fradulent order (which it ofcourse isnt) they put the money on hold and you have to wait a good few days before you can get it back. So when you have $100 in your paypal account, but an order from yesterday for $250 is put in on hold (a whole 24 hours later !!!!), your account balance is -$150... They could run these checks on accounts before payments are made, not after
cobrastrike
The only issue with doing that pwner is that some account are not fraudulent from the start, and could be stolen and as such make subsequent transactions fraudulent. This is why the only real way to do it is on a per transaction basis.
moonsoft
Bluepay has been great for us, highly recommend them. I have been using bluepay for some time now, and have the following to say 1> they do NOT offer 24/7 support i don't care what their website says 2> they have a pitiful "satisfactory" rating from the BBB 3> If you have a chargeback you are not notified at ALL the money simply evaporates from your bank account, and they charge you a fee even if you win the chargeback 4> From Blue pay, if you don't have to scroll to the bottom of the TOS agreement before you pay then that is grounds for a chargeback LOSS, I lost over $450.00 last year because of this for clients who forgot they were being billed ... 5> I have requested rate reviews several times, and have never recieved a single one 6> they automatically renew your contract and it's $300.00 to cancel, when I called at that anniversary date they simply said, you contract was already renewed... I asked by whom, and they said "automatically"
