  1. Thanks. I wouldn't think that would be it as I thought those were global settings. I did dig deeper (why I didn't do it before I made a fool of myself publicly I don't know. ) It looks like somehow I had one of services set up as paypal even thought she paid her initial invoice with a CC. I fixed that. On the other one (there were two customers I found out) his billing date was set to the 3rd not the first. Thanks for the help.
  2. I have a new client that I've added manually recently in WHMCS for monthly hosting services. I had WHMCS send them their first invoice, they paid, and now they have a CC on file with me. They are signed up as a monthly client, and WHMCS issues an invoice. But WHMCS will not pay the invoice automatically from their CC. I have to log in as the client and pay the invoice for them using the CC on file. All of my other clients the monthly invoicing & payments work very smooth. What do I have to do to this client so his billing is automatic like everybody else's? Thanks
  3. I may not be interested in this for WHMCS, but he does have a point and I would use it. Windows/local apps have a place and there are some things that I would only use that way. If you write your code well you can do both i.e. write everything web service based and you can have any UI you want. That also let's you easily write mobile apps. Windows apps are fast and predictable. With a browser you can never guarantee something is going to be in a certain place or work a certain way. And building a windows app is definitely not moving backwards. It is just a different direction. Web browsers have some serious limitations that I run into all of the time that frustrate me. Not to mention that they are relatively slow when compared to web apps. Financial applications are one thing I always use in windows. I've tried Quickbooks Online for example and it sucks. My accountant thinks so too. Printing: Printing is very unpredictable from the web. The only good solution is to print to a PDF and then print the PDF, or rely on something like an activeX plugin where you have local control of the machine.
  4. I just received a new order in and I am trying to approve the order so the cpanel account can be created. I click on the approve/accept in the order and was greeted with: "Module Command Error Sorry, the password you selected cannot be used because it is too weak and would be too easy to crack. Please select a password with strength rating of 50 or higher." What in the world is this referring to ? My WHMCS password is OK. My WHM password is OK - I logged in to make sure the account was not created. What password is this referring to ?
  5. I've read the docs and it says to get an affiliate link for a certain product to use the affiliate link and add on the productid https://billing.sitename.com/*?aff=7&pid=11 WHen I do WHMCS throws me to my site home page. Shouldn't I end up in a shopping cart? Thanks, Patrick
  6. I looked in the docs and could not find it. What is the difference between "Web Space Quota" and "Disk Space" "Bandwidth Limit" and "Bandwidth" Bonus question: Which fields are used in that addon that builds the plan compare table? Thanks
  7. Thanks. That did the trick. I am going to assume that she will get the invoice tonight.
  8. I've got an annual SSL addon that is due to bill in a couple of weeks. However the SSL expires in a week. How do I change the date of the add to today so I can get an invoice issued asap for payment? I cannot see a way to change the info on an addon like I can the other services. Thanks.
  9. Is there anyway to make WHMCS have a different monthly price based on the term of the contract but get it all paid up front i.e. your hosting is $10 a month paid monthly, or $5/month if you pay for two years (24 months) ahead of time, etc.
  10. This is not possible in cpanel/WHM but I am curious if WHMCS has a way to do it. In WHM you can set up your master cpanel account with a model of how you want your public_ftp and public_html accounts to look as you create them. But you only get one setup. Is there a way in WHMCS to have a different "model" copies depending on what package is chosen? So if they choose the Wordpress package I copy a sample public_html that already has the /wp folder defined with files in it. If they choose the SugarCRM package same thing, etc. Thanks.
  11. Having some trouble with BluePay integration. I have the secret phrase and account ID in. I was able to do a test transaction with one of the test cards. But now all I seem to get back from BluePay with the test card ID and a real card ID is "INV TRAN TYPE" or "DUPLICATE" Has anybody seen those before? What do they mean? Thanks, Patrick
  12. anything at .toptenreviews.com is NOT unbiased. They are making money on those referrals. That is why there is everything.toptenreviews.com -
  13. Ahhh. Nevermind. I found out you have to set the registrar on the domain in WHMCS.
