Upgrading Template

I want to upgrade our whmcs from 3.6.0 to 3.6.1 cause i got some minor issues.

But i'm having a fully customised template that fits into my site.

 

Could someonegive me the exact changes needing to adjust my template to the new 3.6.1 templates or know of a program that can compare 2 files for the changed parts.

 

I may look in the upgrade service part on the whmcs site but it says:

* Changes to your template files other than the header and footer files will not be kept during the upgrade.

 

So basically i think it's of no use at all for me.

If you are comparing local copies of files & upgrading manually, Notepad ++ is good if there's not many files, or if you have a few, WinMerge is better. it will show you file differences, and allow you to update each file with your orignal mods.

I thought i saw that 4 files have changed in 3.6.1.

I've been using notepad++ since ages but never heard of winmerge.

 

I'm going to try that.

The changelog.txt file unsurprisingly has a list of all the template files that have been changed.

I already knew that the changed files were listed in the changelog but there is nothing there what describes WHAT has changed in those files and that was the question here in the first place.
