[HELP] Email Piping

FireHosting

Question

Hello,

I got the whole email piping thing to forward emails correctly (I think).

As when i look inside WHMCS it states that the email was recieved. It just doesn't contain any content in the email so WHMCS blocks it from going through (Potential Email Loop Detected).

What can I do to prevent this error, before I make a purchase of WHMCS?

Best Regards,

FireHosting.

It wasn't bouncing anything back until now:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its

recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

pipe to | php -q /home/firehost/public_html/support/pipe/pipe.php

generated by support@firehosting.net

The following text was generated during the delivery attempt:

------ pipe to | php -q /home/firehost/public_html/support/pipe/pipe.php

generated by support@firehosting.net ------

I tried re-installing PHP and Apache.

Could it be something within PHP.ini?

Thanks

Do you have your billing at a subdomain? Such as my.website.com or billing.website.com, etc? If you do:

You need to setup an email for the subdomain

for example:

my.crissic.come

email: whmcs@my.crissic.com

emails that forward: support@crissic.com billing@crissic.com etc.

Create a hidden support with the whmcs@my.crissic.com (replace with your subdomain and domain). This generally works.

UPDATE: I tried setting up a Cron Job, to do this as well.

The CRON outputted:

<b>POP Import Log</b><br>Date: 12/05/2008 00:45:01<hr>Host: mail.firehosting.net<br>Email: support+firehosting.net<br>Email Count: 0<hr>

Which is a good thing, However - When you send an email. It doesn't recieve it for some reason...
