A good solid step back for WHMCS

Today I switched to Interworx and got the server ready.

When I got to WHMCS I was a bit confused with the setup, so I went on whmcs.com to read the manual and found a bloody wiki! So I scroll down and find that interworx is in red and not made!

I find it outragous that a company would not provide their own manuals or documentation, and rather their customers do it for them! It's stupid and unprofessional. Web 2.0 is here, but this is not where a wiki is needed.

I think WHMCS should revert back to a manual, or fill in the whole wiki themselves without leaving bits in the red.

Right now, I'm fuming.

The wiki/documentation has everything in it that the manual did and more, and the vast majority of it is added and maintained by us. There has never been any guide for configuring the Interworx module specifically as it's very simple - only a package name needs entering.

The wiki makes keeping the documentation up to date a breeze, tracking changes easy, formatting clear and simple and allows for other users to contribute their valuable knowledge if they wish to do so. So it's not a step backwards but rather a big step forwards and allows for a much better help resource.

You're fuming over the format of the manual? Instead of posting this I bet you could have posted in the Tech/Questions or Client Discussion forum and got a quick response. A ticket could have been submitted too. No offense, man, but it's not that big of a deal.

PS. You should contribute to the wiki and fill out the Interworx page =D
