Verification module

Webou

Question

Hello everyone,

I am very interested in WHMCS and already spent a lot of time in the docs/wiki/demo parts of the site.

The only feature I am unsure that exists in WHMCS is a kind of verification module.

It would be a module which would allow to browse the different sites hosted, and in case of abuse, warez or other illegal use, would permit to warn/suspend/close the account.

If this feature is present in whmcs, it would perfectly fit my needs :).

Thanks in advance,

Michaël

Thanks for the answers.

I agree that it's beyond the scope of a billing system.

Yet, it is a fraud detection like system, which could exist as a module.

The link with WHMCS is that this module would allow the sysadmin to warn/suspend/terminate the account.

If this feature appears, I am quite sure that I will signup with WHMCS as soon as I know it .

There are a bunch of GPL or similarly licensed applications that can help you scan your sites for stuff like this as well as malware.

The only thing you need to do is have a shell script read through the logs and if something is found, then using the WHMCS API or an SQL Query, "warn/suspend/terminate" the account.
