jdk
Inside of WHMCS I insert a new client manually and configure a product for them. I try to click the button to create their account in cPanel, but I get an error stating that WHMCS can not create the account. I checked my error log but found nothing. Is there a way to tell why the system is not able to create the account thru cPanel? I have the proper login and password set up in the script.
Troy
I had a problem with cpanel provisioning recently, for a new brand hosting brand I was setting up. The server record had the correct root username and password, but it wouldn't work until I removed them and entered the remote access key instead. When it worked with the remote access key, I didn't bother looking into the username/password problem any further. Have you tried using the remote access key?
jdk
I just put it in. I have not tested it. I can remove the username as well if I am using the remote access key?
jsi
I have the username/password and remote access key and have no problems.
Troy
The label for the remote access key says "(Instead of password for cPanel servers)", so I left the password field blank, but left root as the username. It works for me, where having root and the root password, but no remote access key, did not work. I'm guessing that jsi having the password and remote access key both present works because WHMCS likely ignores the password if the remote access key is present.
